  • Provide technical input into innovation initiatives and roadmap development for ESS products.
  • Support HAZID, HAZOP, and design review workshops to identify and mitigate technical risks.
  • Monitor operational performance of BESS assets, analysing system data, leading root cause investigations, and implementing corrective actions.

About You
  • Technical Expertise – In-depth knowledge of battery technologies (LFP/NMC), PCS functionality, protection, communication interfaces, and system-level design.
  • Project Delivery – Proven experience leading utility-scale BESS projects, including FATs, SIT/SAT, and commissioning.

  • Stakeholder Engagement – Strong coordination skills with EPCs, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and aligned objectives.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset – Proactive in identifying risks, managing technical issues, and driving innovation in ESS integration.

Desirable Skills
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related discipline.
  • 6+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of standards (ISO, IEC) and safety codes.
  • Experience in HV/MV grid integration and commissioning.
  • Full right to work in the UK.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary with performance-related bonus.
