Mechanical Engineer – PPM & Reactive Maintenance - £48k
Location: Goodge Street, London
Salary: £48,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our facilities team in Goodge Street.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive mechanical maintenance across a modern commercial site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering PPM schedules to ensure building systems operate at optimum performance
  
  
• Responding to and resolving reactive maintenance issues in a timely manner
  
  
• Conducting fault finding, repairs, and installations on mechanical plant and equipment
  
  
• Ensuring all works comply with health & safety and statutory regulations
  
  
• Keeping accurate maintenance records and reporting to the Facilities Manager
  
  

• Recognised mechanical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
  
  
• Proven experience in mechanical building services and maintenance
  
  
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, pumps, valves, pipework, and general mechanical plant
  
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
  
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  
  

• £48,000 annual salary
  
  
• Monday–Friday schedule (no shifts, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
