Waste Operative

Water Operative – Goole – FM Service Provider - £12.21per hour  

Exciting opportunity for a Waste Operative to work for an established cleaning company situated in Goole.

CBW are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Operative to be based in a commercial building.

The successful candidates will have a proven track record in cleaning within a commercial building.

Details / Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 07:00am to 13:30pm
• Temp to perm contract
• Immediate start

• Use of Baler for cardboard, plastics
• Baler management – basic fault finding, set up and operation
• Use and management of compactors
• Accurately sign Consignment notes and Waste transfer notes
• Movement of Haz containers to singular location for collection
• Operate a utility buggy and material handling equipment to assist with the movement for waste
• Load waste into designated skips
• Drive site vehicles as and when required (full clean driving licence required)
• Train to appropriately handle spills
• External spill kit replenishment
• Booking in of waste collection with waste providers / coordination with clients site management and Apleona
• Estate Manager
• Manage close working relationship with site cleaning team
• Deep clean of external areas including use of pressure washers
• Ensure company communications are cascaded to team members in a timely manner as and when required.
• Attend departmental meetings as required.

• Have a proven track record in cleaning within a commercial environment
• To work to a timescale as agreed with you and your Supervisor/Manager
• Ensure compliance with relevant health & safety practices
• To always act in a professional manner
• Be honest, reliable, and hard working
• Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills
• Be eligible to work in the UK
• Safety boots and Hi Vis needed
