Salary: £37,000 - £40,000 per annum + Van & Fuel Card

About the Role: We are currently looking for a Fire Door Carpenter to join our client’s team, covering contracts across London and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fire Door Installation: Install, maintain, and repair fire doors in commercial and residential properties, ensuring all work is carried out in line with fire safety regulations and standards.
  
  
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure all installations meet relevant fire safety standards, regulations, and codes of practice.
  
  
• Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and quality control checks to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.
  
  
• Client Liaison: Liaise with clients on-site to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  
  
• Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork for each project, including reports on work completed and any issues encountered.
  
  
• Travel: Cover contracts in London and surrounding areas, ensuring timely and safe travel to sites.
  
  

• Essential:
  
  
  • Level 2 Qualified Carpenter with experience in fire door installation.
    
    
  • Relevant Passive Fire Accreditation (e.g., FIRAS or equivalent).
    
    
  • Proven experience in fitting and maintaining fire doors.
    
    
  • A good understanding of fire safety regulations and best practices.
    
    
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    
    
  • Must hold a valid UK driver’s license (no more than 6 penalty points).
    
    
• Desirable:
  
  
  • Experience working on commercial and residential contracts.
    
    
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
