HIU Engineer

HIU Engineer  - Victoria, London - temp to perm - Immediate start
Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated in London.

CBW are currently recruiting for a Heat Interface Unit Engineer (HIU) to carry out planned and reactive maintenance to HIU units, across a large campus of high end residential properties based in and around London Victoria.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record with HIU maintenance and a proven track record working in commercial or residential buildings.

In return the company is offering a hourly rate of up to £25p/h based on experience.

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Complete PPM, Reactive and Servicing on the heat interface units (HIU)
• Remedial works on the HIU
• General plumbing bleeding radiators, cylinders,
• HIU Maintenance
• Changing and servicing of water temp sensors etc.
• Bleeding radiators
• Replacing Heat Meters
• Servicing and repair of Chilled interface Units
• Mechanical duties - AHU/FCU servicing, sprinkler testing, Dry risers
• Fire alarm testing 
• Emergency light testing  

• HIU Maintenance experience (Essential)
• Excellent communication skills
• Honest, reliable and hard working
• A positive attitude towards work and willingness to get tasks completed on time whilst managing conflicting deadlines
• IMPORTANT - This role is focussed on HIU service/Maintenance only 

• City and Guilds Qualified (or equivalent) Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience working in high-end residential properties
• Able to start at short notice
• HIU - Courses
