About the Role
We are looking for a Brain Injury Support Worker to support a client with mobility issues, pain, shortness of breath, dysphasia, hearing loss, and cognitive challenges.
The role involves assisting with daily activities, medication, and emotional support.
Pay: £16.22 per hour
Hours:
- Monday: 5pm – 8pm or 6pm – 9pm
- Alternate Saturdays: 10am – 4pm
- Flexibility for additional shifts
- Supporting daily routines and personal care
- Assisting with mobility and hygiene
- Administering medication and monitoring health
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Keeping accurate care records and reporting changes
- Working alongside healthcare professionals and family
- Experience in brain injury support or complex care
- Ability to manage challenging behaviours
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate and patient approach
- Start: 18/02/2025
