Maintenance Plumber – FM Service Provider - Saffron Walden - Immediate Start

An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in Saffron Walden.

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for an Maintenance Plumber to be based in a commercial building near Saffron Walden. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive Mechanical / Plumbing maintenance alongside the maintenance team.

Hours of work / contract details

• Monday - Friday , 8am - 5pm
• £24p/h, 
• Starting immediately 
• Temp to perm
• Parking available on site 

• City & Guilds / NVQ in Mechanical & Plumbing
• You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• An understanding of the following is essential: L8 Water treatment, Pumps, Air Handling units
• Multi-skilled
• Good communication skills
• Excellent customer skills

• Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing
• AHUs/FCUs – filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans
• Pumps – PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)
• Motors – PPMs (re-winds, overhauls)
• Water treatment – dipslides, pH & temperature testing, chlorination, chemical dosing
• Water pressurization units
• Chlorifiers – annual inspection, descaling
• Steam Plant
• Condensers, Condenser Returns
• Cooling towers
• Softeners
• Humidifiers
• Hydraulics
• Pneumatics
• Boilers – re-sets
• Chillers – re-sets, 1st Line faults
