Air Conditioning Engineer – Glasgow – Salary up to £45,000 DOE

This role involves carrying out small installations, reactive maintenance, and servicing across commercial contracts in Glasgow and the central belt of Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, maintain, and troubleshoot a range of air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRV/VRF units, and chillers.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks like cleaning coils, replacing filters, and servicing moving parts to maximize HVAC lifespan.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Conduct inspections and assessments to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams and contractors on complex repairs and system upgrades.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role in facilities management.
• F-Gas Cat 1 certification is essential.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, servicing, and repairs.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Salary £40,000 - £45,000
• On-call rota (1 in 7) with £140 per week + door-to-door overtime pay.
• Overtime at time-and-a-half, with double-time for weekends.
• Weekend overtime opportunities available.
