Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer – FM Service Provider  - South Kensington - Temporary - Immediate start - £24 per hour  

CBW is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to cover a large tourist attraction located in South West London.

The successful candidate will be mechanical qualified and will have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Experience working with hot water systems/ heating systems
• Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing
• AHUs/FCUs – filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans
• Pumps – PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)
• Motors – PPMs (re-winds, overhauls)
• Water treatment – dipslides, pH & temperature testing,
• Water pressurization units
• Calorifiers – annual inspection, de-scaling
• Cooling towers
• Boilers – re-sets
• Chillers – re-sets, 1st Line faults

•  2 on 2 off, 3 on 3 off, 07:00 am to 19:00pm/ 10:00 am to 22:00 pm
• £24 per hour 
• Overtime Available

• Mechanically qualified to Level 2 or equivalent
• Air Conditioning & Refrigeration C&G (Highly desirable - Not essential)
• F-gas (Highly desirable – Not essential)
• Commercial Building maintenance experience
