CBW is currently recruiting for an Electrically qualified Building Services Engineer to work in a flagship historical venue in South Kensington.

The ideal candidate will carry out daily plant room checks whilst helping to maintain the buildings electrical services and support the maintenance of mechanical plant services.

This position would be ideal for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer currently in a similar position.

In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £51,814.

This will be working client direct for one of the most attractive, growing businesses in the UK building services industry.



 

Technical duties will include:

  • Emergency Lighting
  • Fault Finding, Wiring
  • Power Distribution
  • Sockets
  • Circuits
  • UPS
  • Switching - HV/LV
  • Air Handling Units
  • Fan Coil Units
  • Pumps, Motors, Belts, Fans
  • Boiler checks
  • Generator tests
 

Working hours:

  • 4 on, 4 off (2 earlies, 2 lates then repeat)
  • 07:00-17:30 (earlies), 16:00-02:00 (lates)
  • Cab home on late shift (must live within M25)

  Requirements:

 

  • Experience working in commercial building services

  • Electrically qualified 
  • City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent
  • Testing & Inspection
  • 18th Edition if electrically qualified 

  • Apprentice trained - Desired not essential

  • Able to work the hours advertised

  • Experience working within both landlord and tenant area's of a commercial premises are preferable.
