Location: Hybrid - 2 days in the office (Wilmslow), 3 days in the office
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Per Annum

The role
Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

, Involvement in month-end results preparation for 2 companies including month-end files, journals, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and commentary.
, Weekly bank reconciliations and preparation of cashflow analysis.
, Assist with the production of cost centre reporting packs and variance analysis for the business.
, Engage in annual budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow projections.
, Reconcile credit card spend.
, Purchase ledger management.
, PSA annual workings and preparation.
, Preparation of the quarterly VAT return.
, Bi-annual payment practices reporting.
, Assisting with the annual audit process.


, Support the Finance Manager with insightful reporting and ad-hoc analyses.

About you:
, Committed to a career in finance and in the initial stages of CIMA/ACCA or looking to begin studies immediately
, Excellent numerical and analytical skills
, Eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges
, Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
, Good organisational skills and attention to detail
, Strong work ethic with a ‘Can do' attitude
, Able to generate and maintain solid working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
