AC Engineer

Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer - Hampshire & Berkshire - Up to £40,000

An Exciting role to join a growing maintenance provider who is looking to expand their operation due to the acquisition of a contract and bring in a specialised Commercial Air Conditioning engineer to supply this service to the existing portfolio of clients in Hampshire & Berkshire.

You will be joining their current mobile maintenance team and covering the Berkshire & Hampshire area on a range of commercial contracts.

You will be responsible for all commercial Air conditioning maintenance and general building services and will be working Monday - Friday 8am - 5 pm.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 Refrigeration & Air conditioning (Minimum)
• NVQ Level 3 Refrigeration & Air conditioning (Desirable)
• Fgas 2079 Cat 1 (Essential)
• Good Air conditioning maintenance knowledge
• Extensive experience working within commercial environments
• Building services knowledge with ideally electrical qualifications but not essential.
• Full Drivers Licence

• 40 hours per week (8.5 hours per day including 30 min unpaid lunch break, 5 days a week)
• 30 days paid holiday pro-rata including all bank holidays, increasing to 33 days after 5 years and 38 days after 10 years
• OT during the week (Monday to Friday) is paid at 1.5 times flat rate
• OT at weekends is paid at 1.5 times flat rate, door to door
• Travel time will be paid after 30 minutes 
• Call-out rota (approx.
  
  1 in 5) adds around £1150 per annum, plus call-out payments
• Company phone & uniform.
• Company van, which is to be used for work use only (personal use available on request)

• PPM & Reactive maintenance
• Air conditioning and refrigeration - Service / maintenance
• Your main duties will be service and maintenance on split systems, VRV's, VAV's and VRF's, AHU's, FCU's, Chillers and all HVAC and refrigeration plant.
• Electrical Knowledge would be beneficial.
