Mechanical Fitter (Pipework)

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established mechanical engineering business in their search for a Mechanical Fitter (Pipework) to work in Birkenhead

Job Role: Fitting hygienic pipework and steel components on industrial client sites.

Tasks also include maintenance and repair work, and general mechanical duties.

The role involves working alongside a team to ensure projects are completed effectively.

May also include supporting additional tasks on-site beyond primary responsibilities.

Job Details:

• Pay: £20 per hour (PAYE) | £26 per hour (Umbrella)
• Hours of Work: 7.30am-3.30pm, Monday to Friday
• Duration: 4 Weeks (Potential for additional work after this project)

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Mechanical installation of pipework systems
• Mechanical service and maintenance experience

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Experience of TIG welding
• Experience of steel fabrication
• FLT experience

Essential Qualifications:

• NVQ/City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Desired Qualifications:

• CCNSG Card
• FLT Licence
