Smoke Ventilation Engineer -  Mobile - Temp to perm - FM Service Provider - East London

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently hiring for a Smoke Ventilation engineer on a mobile basis.

The engineer will be covering multiple high end residential properties around East London.

The role involves maintaining, testing, and repairing Smoke ventilation systems.

The engineer will identify and address faulty systems, ensuring durability and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain Smoke Ventilation systems
• Provide customer service in line with British Standards
• Work from schematics and fault-find
• Collaborate with on-site teams (Concierge, Property Managers, etc.)
• Complete reports, timesheets, and maintenance records
• Ensure compliance with smoke venting and fire alarm standards (BS5839, BS7436)

• Monday - Friday
• 7:30am - 5pm Monday - Thursday
• 7:30am - 4pm on Friday
• Immediate start
• up to £220 per day ( umbrella or CIS )
• Call out available 
• £160 allowance per month towards fuel or travel costs 
• Van Mobile and foot mobile positions available 

• must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• A proven track record in smoke ventilation maintenance 
• Good communication skills
• Client Facing
• Immediately available or able to start at short notice
• Knowledge of BS5839, BS5266, BS7671
