Fabric Engineer

Fabric Engineer - Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey - Up to £36,000

I have a fantastic opportunities to work for a large maintenance company working in the Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey working at a corporate commercial office estate on behalf of a large property management company.

You will carry out all building fabric maintenance on an estate of commercial office buildings as part of the maintenance team working a days.

You will be required to carry out general maintenance tasks with a carpentry / fabric bias.

Hours

• Monday to Friday 
• 08:00 am - 17:00 pm 

• Basic Carpentry and plumbing
• Painting & Decorating
• Basic lighting
• Fixing Furniture
• Hanging Pictures & Shelves
• Maintain and update Log books
• Assist the maintenance team on site
• Emergency lighting tests & Fire alarm tests 
• Escort sub-contractors
• To undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paint work, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks , making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc. 

• Knowledge of commercial building maintenance
• An understanding of most building fabric duties (Plumbing, Painting, Carpentry, Basic Electrical, etc)
• Good communication skills
• Health & Safety experience
• Basic PC literacy, (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, smartphone use)
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service
• Self-motivation with the ability to manage tight time constraints and prioritise workload

• Basic Salary of up to £36,000
