As the Company Secretarial Administrator/Paralegal your key responsibilities include:
To assist with the administration of the Trustee Board including but not limited to, preparing agendas, board packs, minute-taking, and record keeping, under the supervision of the Company Secretary and General Counsel.
This includes attendance at meetings which are scheduled during normal working hours and in the evening
Provide support and assistance as required to the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer with Board matters
Assist with timely Companies House and Charity Commission filings
Communicate effectively and establish good working relationships across the organisation
Preparation of accurate minutes ensuring dissemination and communication to the appropriate individuals for action, following up of actions in advance of meetings
Provide excellent quality administrative support for the corporate governance and legal compliance of the organisation
Provide administrative support to the Company Secretary and General Counsel
Lead on general administration support including diary management, filing, scanning, mail, action planning and other ad hoc tasks as required
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Expert Microsoft Computer skills - PowerPoint/Word/Excel/Teams
Strong minute taking proficiency
Action plan or progress plan/ tracker recording proficiency
Minimum of 12 months administration experience
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Well-developed computer and keyboard skills
Evidence of personal development and achievement of results
Experience of working in corporate governance in a healthcare or charity setting or other complex regulated environment is desirable
Experience of working in a legal team, preferably as a Paralegal is desirable

Make a differential diagnosis based on evidence from assessment, leading to decisions about intervention/treatment
Communicate complex condition related information, from assessment to patients/clients, carers, families and members of the multi disciplinary team/other professions
Maintain sensitivity at all times to the emotional needs of patients/clients and their carers, in particular when imparting potentially distressing information regarding the nature of the patient/client's difficulties and implications of the same
Negotiate and work closely with patients/clients, carers, families, and other professionals, agreeing decision- making and prioritisation relevant to the patient/client's management, devising agreed care plans based on best practice, seeking advice from manager/supervisor for more complex cases
Initiate and provide a variety of treatment options according to patients needs, including the use of interpreters as appropriate

As a Band 6 Health Visitor your key responsibilities include:
Carrying out ongoing health needs assessments for all children and families within the community
Overseeing the delivery of Universal service key touch points by skill mix team members ensuring they are within required timescales, according to the service model, to meet KPI targets
To provide health visiting support and advice within the clinic setting, according to the service model and guidelines
Liaise effectively with colleagues within BHC and partner organisations to ensure care for children and families is timely, well-coordinated and effective
Plan own workload effectively to meet client needs, clinical activity targets and KPIs
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Experience of working in multi- disciplinary teams
Experience of working across organisational boundaries within health/social care
Team working/autonomous working
Knowledge of the public health role of contemporary health visiting
Current knowledge and understanding of reports/legislation affecting community nursing including current PHE directives
Computer literate
