Purpose of the role
, To manage and support the team of consultants , To ensure that service delivery to clients is at a high and consistent level
Key duties, responsibilities and objectives
, Managing a team of consultants (Senior or Developing) to ensure they are delivering work to a high standard, Working with each Consultant within the team to ensure audit and consultancy services are delivered to a consistent level in line with client brief documentation and client expectations, To provide pastoral care to each member of the team, To meet with each consultant regularly and undertake shadow audits/peer reviews , To provide feedback (both positive and negative) and development plans where necessary, To liaise with the planning department where necessary and address any areas of concern or assist with the improvement of diary planning, To assist and support the identification of training needs for each consultant in the team , Undertaking audits, consultancy visits, new client set-ups and other revenue-generating work to an agreed billable target each week (minimum 40% (this may be reviewed as teams grow)) , Being the dedicated Consultant to clients, ensuring that support and advice is provided both proactively and reactively, Liaising with the account management team to ensure Consultants within each team are provided with suitable and sufficient advice regarding each client, Providing reports on each consultant as and when required to the Senior Client Services Director

Head of Geospatial We are looking for an experienced Head of Geospatial to lead our client’s dynamic Geospatial team.

Main tasks:Directly responsible for the successful running of GIS and Measured Survey TeamsBe a key delivery partner with the Head of Land Referencing to further enhance and develop that geospatially reliant service line across multiple sectorsBe instrumental in educating clients and the wider business on the power of Geospatial technology and data and develop property-focused innovative solutionsManage change initiatives with best practice project/programme management methods to ensure regulatory compliance for quality and securityWrite and execute geospatial business plan in accordance with vision periods.Have a strong focus on client care and Quality and Risk Management.Lead on spatial data integration across all business applications / enterprise systemsSupport the development of your teams whilst actively recruiting and training new team membersActively lead Geospatial business development activity whilst support the wider business with cross referralsManage change initiatives with best practice project/programme management methods to ensure regulatory compliance for quality and security. What does it take to be successful? As the Head of Geospatial, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and delivering Geospatial and Data Strategies, services, and product roadmaps.
With extensive experience in the Geospatial industry, you will influence and guide at the C-Suite level, win new business, and manage client relationships across various divisions, including Infrastructure, Residential, Rural, Commercial, Planning, and Development. We would like you have experience of managing strategic partnerships across Survey organisations, GIS software and data providers alongside an expert knowledge in the integration of spatial and non-spatial data including 3D datasets such as LiDAR and Photogrammetric derived datasets. You will already be highly experienced in ESRI enterprise architecture and using it to develop solutions with a working knowledge of App development. Ideally you will have a bachelor’s degree ideally MSc or PHD and be an active member of a Geospatially focused Professional Body e.g.

We are hiring for a Senior Land Manager to join the renewables team of an established investment management firm, focusing on impactful investments in the environment, health, society, communities, and the economy.

They manage grid connections, land agreements, and planning, then oversee the long-term operation of these projects. Role The role is to join their team in Glasgow to lead in securing the necessary land agreements to support the development and delivery of high-quality renewable energy projects (predominantly wind, solar and storage). In particular, the role-holder will be expected to lead activities such as identifying and engaging with potential landowners, undertaking initial feasibility assessments, negotiating Heads of Terms and then leading preparation and registration of land agreements including leases, options, wayleaves and letters of authority including instructing and managing the necessary legal support. Additionally, the role-holder will be required to mentor and manage more junior team members. Key responsibilities will be leading the internal land function, team management, reporting, managing networks of land agents and legal support and engaging with other disciplines such as planning and engineering teams.
