Essential Requirements – Support Worker
To be considered for this Support Worker position with Sirona Medical, applicants should have:

• Previous experience working as a Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant or Care Assistant.
• Experience supporting vulnerable adults in a residential, supported living or healthcare setting.
• A good understanding of safeguarding adults and duty of care.
• Experience providing personal care and assisting with daily living activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate, patient and professional approach to care.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a wider care team.
• A valid Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to undergo the necessary checks.
• Relevant mandatory training and an understanding of person-centred care.

• Providing high-quality, person-centred care and support to service users.
• Assisting individuals with personal care and everyday living activities.
• Promoting independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing.
• Supporting individuals with their emotional, physical and social needs.
• Following individual care plans and risk assessments.
• Maintaining accurate daily care records and reporting concerns appropriately.
• Supporting service users with activities and community engagement where required.
• Working closely with colleagues to maintain a safe, supportive and positive environment.
• Following safeguarding policies, infection prevention procedures and health and safety guidelines.
