Deputy Manager

The Role
We are looking for a Deputy Manager to support survivors of domestic abuse in our Refuge service.
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the service to deliver positive, people-focused support, working in a team context to achieving the best outcomes for people
What you’ll be doing
• Support the Manager to deliver person centred support
• Line manage support workers and housing management worker
• Drive service development and improvement
• Work with stakeholder partners to enhance networks and outcomes
• Ensure legal, organisational and regulatory compliance
• Contribute to organisational goals through key involvement in training, working groups and national programmes
What you’ll bring
• Some experience of working with vulnerable adults or survivors of domestic abuse
• Strong leadership and people management skills

Working Arrangements
• This is a service-based role with standard hours are Monday – Friday 9am -5pm.
Occasional evening and weekend work is required and participation in an on-call rota
• You will be required to travel to training and community partnership events and training, and organisational events may require overnight stays
