Class 1 Driver

Job Title: Class 1 Driver (Store deliveries from Service yards with 1/2 drops a day) - Curtain Sider work - Opening + Closing curtains required but stores will unload for you
Location: Swindon 
Pay Rate: £20.22 to £21.14 p/h
Shifts: Monday to Friday - AM starts
Experience: 2 years driving Class 2 = essential

Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers in Swindon to work with our client, who is a well known high street retailer.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Driving an Class 1 vehicle 
  • Store deliveries (1-2 deliveries per day)
  • Routine vehicle checks and paperwork
 
About you:
You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 2 years experience in commercial driving.

You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.

Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.

You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
