Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) -  Curtain Sider + Box Trailer work - No handballing
Location: Rochdale
Pay Rate: £18.49 - £20.17 p/h (includes rolled up holiday pay)
Shifts: Days and Nights - START TIMES 04:00-08:00 & 14:00-19:00
Experience: 12 months Class 1 experience essential

The Role
As a professional HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties may include:
  • A mixture of Curtaiin Sider and Box Trailer work 
    • No handballing required
    • Curtain Side work - trunking but strapping & curtain movement required
    • Box Trailer work - some runs require pallets to be moved with a Pallet truck but the rest are purely trailer movements
  • Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
  • Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport regulations
  • Completing all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately
What We're Looking For
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
  • A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
  • At least 12 months' commercial Class 1 driving experience
  • A valid Driver CPC qualification (DCPC) and a valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • A professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer service
Our client may accept up to 6 penalty points.

Unfortunately, applications with DD, DR, CD, IN or TT endorsements cannot be accepted.

Applicants must be UK residents and able to travel independently to and from the site.
