The Role.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students both in the classroom and during practical activities.
- Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver personalised learning.
- Encourage independence while providing appropriate care and support.
- Build positive relationships with students, helping them to achieve their full potential.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Experience working in a school is welcomed but not essential.
We are keen to hear from people with transferable skills and experience from backgrounds such as:
- Care and support work
- Health and social care
- Residential care
- Youth work
- Nursery or childcare
- Sports coaching
- Community support
- Customer-facing roles where patience, empathy, and communication are key
Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
