Class 2 Driver

Job Title: Class 2 Driver (Skip & Roro)
Location: Cross Green 
Pay Rate: Earn £15.39 to £17.25 p/h 
Hours: Monday to Friday (06:00 - 16:00)

Fifth Wheel Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Drivers in Cross Green to work with our client, who provide essential services and utilities to communities across Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Hours:
  • Monday to Friday 
  • 06:00 - 16:00
  • 45 hour working week - overtime available 
 
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Drive and operate HGV Class 2 (C+E) vehicles
    • Skip & Roro
  • Accurately complete all collection and delivery paperwork
  • Report delays including breakdowns, traffic, weather, or access issues
  • Record and report any contaminated loads
  • Complete accurate daily time sheets
  • Work independently or assist the onboard crew when required
About you:
You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially.

You must have Skip & Roro experience.

You will also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.

Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.

As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.

We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
