Consultant Paediatrician

Where you’ll be working
You’ll join a well-established regional paediatric service delivering care across inpatient, outpatient and community settings.

The service includes a busy inpatient unit, neonatal care and expanding community and behavioural paediatrics, supported by multidisciplinary teams and strong junior medical staffing.

Paediatricians provide consultative services across the hospital while also contributing to outreach clinics at surrounding regional hospitals and community health centres.

The department is accredited for specialist registrar training, creating a vibrant teaching environment with opportunities to mentor trainees and contribute to the ongoing development of paediatric services across the region.

Salary

Base salary from $216,300 – $310,389 + 12% superannuation + allowances including 35% private practice allowance, 20% retention allowance and motor vehicle allowance.

Estimated total package: approximately $420,000 – $610,000+ per annum, depending on seniority

Requirements  

Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent.

Paediatricians eligible for the fast-track registration pathway are encouraged to apply.
