Oncology Career Medical Officer

  • Monday to Friday daytime role: no on-call or after-hours 
  • Middle grade position working alongside experienced oncology specialists

Where you’ll be working
You’ll join a modern regional cancer service delivering care to patients across Northern and North-West Tasmania.

Based within a well-supported cancer centre, you’ll work closely with medical and radiation oncologists, haematology specialists, nurses and allied health teams.

The service includes access to clinical trials, multidisciplinary meetings and a collaborative clinical environment focused on high-quality patient care.

Tasmania’s North-West Coast offers a relaxed coastal lifestyle with stunning wilderness, national parks and outdoor activities at your doorstep.

Enjoy bushwalking, mountain biking, beaches and fresh local produce, while still being just a short flight from mainland Australia.

Salary
Salary from $128,750 – $183,340 plus superannuation + benefits.

Accommodation and relocation support available for eligible applicants

Requirements  
Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) with minimum Level 2 supervision requirements, OR eligibility for registration via the Competent Authority Pathway.

 

*Please note doctors seeking their first position in Australia via the Standard Pathway or doctors with current registration and Level 1 supervision requirements cannot be considered at this time.
