Locum GP/ED

The Job
Setting: 48-bed regional facility providing emergency, medical, surgical and allied health care
Hours: Thursdays - Sundays. Standard shift times are 0800–2200, with a 2000 finish negotiable at a lower rate if preferred.
Rate: $3200 per day
Provisions: Accommodation provided and travel up to $800 reimbursed (flights or mileage only).

Where you’ll be working
You’ll work alongside a dedicated team to support the Emergency Department and general clinical services.

Located approximately 2 hours’ drive from Newcastle and around 3 hours from Sydney, the region offers cultural gems such as the Scone Museum, the Hunter Warbirds Museum, and fine dining at local favourites like The Cottage, set in a lovingly restored 1860s home.

For nature lovers, the region offers extraordinary access to natural beauty for bushwalking and hiking adventures.

Requirements  

  • Current General or Specialist registration with AHPRA 
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural & Remote Medicine (FACRRM) is desirable
