Job Title: Transport Manager
Location: Runcorn
Pay Rate: £34,000 per annum
Shifts: Full time hours (48 hours a week) with start times between 05:00 and 07:00 Tuesday to Saturday

Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for reliable, experienced Transport First Line Managers to join our team and play a vital role in keeping the supply chain moving. 

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our clients Home Delivery Network and as an experienced leader, your experience, drive and determination will be utilised well within this challenging and rewarding role. 

To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced transport manager with a strong focus on customer service.

You must have previous experience in a high-volume transport and warehouse environment.

• Proactively manage and motivate the team to ensure best performance

  • Investigate and manage any performance, conduct or capability issues
  • Contribute to the training and development of yourself and the delivery teams
• Manage and develop accident reduction innitiatives
• Manage role related KPI's 
• Work closely with the Warehouse and Planning teams
• Work on an ever changing Transport plan to ensure the smooth running of daily deliveries
