We are currently recruiting experienced Thermal Insulation Engineers at the Hitachi River Side2 site in Belvedere (DA17 6JY).

This is a long-term opportunity running through to March 2026, working on a high-profile industrial project.

The role offers consistent hours, premium rates, and the chance to work with a professional and respected team.

 

Job Title: Thermal Insulation Engineer

Location: Belvedere, London DA17 6JY (Hitachi River Side2)

 

Key Details:


  • 60 hours per week


  • Paid 10 hours per day (Mon–Fri)


  • Paid 8 hours on Saturdays


  • Base rate: £29.00 per hour


  • Overtime:



    • Monday–Friday (after 10 hours): 1.33x


    • Weekends: 1.5x



 

Responsibilities:


  • Installation of thermal insulation on pipework, ducting, and vessels


  • Application of cladding and jacketing using aluminum or stainless steel


  • Reading and working from isometric drawings and specifications


 

Requirements:

To be considered, candidates must have ONE of the following:



  • TICA Indentured Apprenticeship


  • NVQ Level 2 or Diploma in Thermal Insulation


  • Level 3 Apprenticeship in Industrial Thermal Insulation Technician Standard (ST0521)


  • ECITB Technical Test TTI01 (Valid/Passed)
