Mechanical Fitter

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established mechanical engineering contractor in their search for a Mechanical Fitter to work in Buckley.

Job Role: Working on a steelwork site, the Mechanical Fitter will install, maintain and repair structural and mechanical systems on-site.

The role involves reading technical drawings, using hand and power tools, and fitting components within large-scale infrastructure.

The position requires physical work outdoors in a construction environment, adhering to all health and safety standards.

Job Details:

• Pay: £22.00 - £25.00 per hour
• Hours of Work: 10-hour days with overtime paid at time and a half
• Duration: Temporary

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Experience working with mechanical fitting on structural steelwork
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Skilled with hand and power tools

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience on steel fabrication or infrastructure installation projects

Essential Qualifications:

• Valid CSCS card
