Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider - Mobile covering Edinburgh and Fife £38,000 plus great benefits 

An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company covering the Edinburgh and the Fife areas.

 CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based on an established contract covering Edinburgh and Fife with occasional travel to the borders.

 He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive electrical building maintenance.  This position will also see you trained to be the Authorised Person on site. 


Hours of work / Salary / Benefits 

• 08:00am - 17:00pm 
• Monday - Friday 
• 40 hours a week 
• £38,000
• Plus on call 1 in 8 with additional call out pay

• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
• Emergency lighting tests
• Control Panels
• Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
• Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
• Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
• Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
• Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
• Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
• Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.

• Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2&3
• City & Guilds - 18th Edition
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• Multi-skilled
• Good communication skills
• Client Facing
