Machine Operative

Machine Operative - Wigan & Bolton - Up to £13.29 p/h - Immediate Starts - Apply Today! 
Assist Resourcing is currently recruiting Machine Operatives to work for our client who is currently based in Wigan, who is a leading supplier of paper products.

In March 2025 a new site will open in Bolton and you must be able to travel to this site to work. 

Previous experience in a role like this is preferable. 

Hours of Work as a Machine Operative: 
This opportunity requires working Monday to Friday across a selection of shift times:

  • Monday to Thursday working
    • 07:00 - 16:40
  • Friday 
    • 08:00 - 12:00

The responsibilities of being a Machine Operative: 
Working on a production line you will be responsible for: 
  • Setting up and running various machines (including FLT's and Clamp Trucks)
  • Maintaining machines
  • Ensuring papework is completed in full and on time
  • Use of handheld tools
  • Completion of safety inspection sheets
  • Adhering to health & safety requirements at all times
