Nexus People are currently looking for a Logistics Administrator to join our clients busy Warehouse in Brighouse.

Our client is a leading supplier with over 30 Years of expertise in engineered valves and ancillary products. 

You must have 12 months demonstrable experience working in a Logistics setting. 

Working as a Logistics Administrator: 
The Logistics Administrator will be responsible for: 

  • Using Microsoft packages
  • Planning and coordinating the shipment of goods
  • Monitoring stock levels
  • Traingck shipments and updating clients and internal teams
  • Liaising with suppliers, carriers, and freight forwarders
  • Preparing and managing shipping documents
  • Analysing shipping costs
  • Utilising logistics software to plan shipments
There will be other administration duties involved, and our client is keen to find someone who is flexible and willing to learn new skills. 

What do you need to be a Logistics Administrator?
To be considered for the role of Logistics Administrator, you should have the following skills: 
  • Attention to detail/diligence/investigatory approach
  • Ability to work under pressure & achieve deadlines and SLA’s
  • Ability to plan and prioritize the workload
  • Analytical and dynamic approach
  • Computer literacy (specifically excel but also other Microsoft packages)
  • Be customer focused
  • Be results driven
  • Have a general warehouse/distribution knowledge
