Job Title: MET Technician
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

My Client are a leading automotive repair and maintenance centre based in Chelmsford, dedicated to delivering high-quality service to our customers.

The team are passionate about vehicles and prides itself on delivering exceptional workmanship.

They are now looking for a skilled and experienced MET Technician to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
Diagnose faults, damage, and issues with various vehicle systems.
Carry out repairs and replacements of vehicle components to manufacturer standards.
Use advanced diagnostic equipment to assess and repair electronic systems.
Strip and refit trim, panels, and other vehicle parts as necessary.
Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and in line with health and safety regulations.
Liaise with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and high customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including parts used and time taken.

Requirements:
Proven experience as an MET Technician or similar role in the automotive industry.
Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics, electrical systems, and bodywork.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Strong communication skills.
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification is preferred.
A valid UK driving license is essential.
