Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider - Stratford - Immediate Start

An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in Stratford.

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a commercial office located near Stratford. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team.

Hours of work

• Monday - Friday / 10:00am - 19:00pm or 08:00am - 17:00pm 
• £25 per hour Umbrella only 
• Stratford 
• Starting on Monday 2nd September 
• Temo to Perm 

• City & Guilds / NVQ
• NVQ in Mechanical
• You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• An understanding of the following is essential: L8 Water treatment, Pumps, Air Handling units
• Multi-skilled
• Good communication skills
• Excellent customer skills
• Need to be able to travel back home after finishing at 00:00am 

• Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing
• AHUs/FCUs – filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans
• Pumps – PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)
• Motors – PPMs (re-winds, overhauls)
• Water treatment – dipslides, pH & temperature testing, chlorination, chemical dosing
• Water pressurization units
• Chlorifiers – annual inspection, descaling
• Steam Plant
• Condensers, Condenser Returns
• Cooling towers
• Softeners
• Humidifiers
• Hydraulics
• Pneumatics
• Boilers – re-sets
• Chillers – re-sets, 1st Line faults
