As a Development Underwriter, you will be responsible for underwriting a profitable book of UK Property and Casualty business, with a panel of brokers to develop.

Key aspects of the role include;

• Developing and underwriting new business
• Underwriting renewal business
• Building and maintaining relationships with a panel of brokers
• Providing an outstanding service to customers
• Maintaining accurate systems and documentation and producing reports as required

• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on being part of a successful team
• Existing relationships with a number of brokers in the South East of England, including London
• Advanced communication, negotiation and analytical skills
• ACII qualified
• Ability to work with a variety of systems and look for efficiencies in business processes
