Mobile Handyperson - Hull - National Facilities Management Organisation: Commercial/Industrial Manufacturing

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyperson to join our client's on site maintenance team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the proper functioning and appearance of the end-clients' facilities.

This role requires a proactive individual with a wide range of skills in repair, maintenance, and general building upkeep.

This is a mobile based opportunity, based in Hull covering two sites. 

Package:

• Competitive salary up to £28,000 per annum (depending on experience) 
  
  
• Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
  
  
• Participation in an ‘out of hours’ on call rota (to be confirmed)

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry and HVAC systems
  
  
• Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify and address any issues
  
  
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls
  
  
• Paint, patch, and repair walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as needed
  
  
• Assemble and install furniture, fixtures, and equipment
  
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of maintenance areas and tools
  
  
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors as necessary
  
  
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  
  

• Proven experience as a Handyperson or in a similar maintenance role
  
  
• Relevant certifications or trade qualifications are a plus
  
  
• Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC repairs
  
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  
  
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
  
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
  
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects
  
  
• Full UK Driving licence
