A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Healthcare Assistant to work in an exceptional care home based in the Southwell, Nottinghamshire area.

This care home offers a mixture of residential and dementia care and provides short term respite care to help others take a break from their caring roles

*To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care

As a Healthcare Assistant your key duties include:

• Acting as a key worker to some residents, and ensuring care plans are up to date and accurate


• Providing personal care to the residents, ensuring dignity and respect are maintained at all times


• Supporting new members of the team and providing constructive feedback


• Encouraging independence as much as possible

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Previous experience of working in a care environment


• Previous experience of working with older people


• A shared understanding and the ability to demonstrate our four key values


• A caring, compassionate personality


• Reliability and punctuality

The successful Healthcare Assistant will receive an excellent salary of £9.50 per hour.

We currently have permanent vacancies for both days and night shifts available.
