Static Multi-Skilled Engineer

Static Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Biased) - Derby - Up to £26.00 P/H

CBW has an excellent new opportunity for a static Electrical biased Multi Skilled Engineer to join a leading facilities company on a temporary basis with the opportunity to become permanent.

This is covering a commercial site working 40 hours per week.

Hours and Dates:

• 40 Hours per week
• Start date 07/08/2024 Approx length – 2 to 4 months Start/Finish time 07:30 – 16:00 (30mins lunch)

• Carry out reactive repairs on all systems as required
• Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all electrical / Mechanical systems
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e.
  
  Hot & cold)
• Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
• Maintain and update Logbooks
• Working to Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance regimes
• Changing taps/washers
• Repair and servicing of mechanical & electrical (M&E) equipment, PPM & reactive.
• Managing priorities within contract constraints.
• Working within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve set goals.
• Providing information for the pricing of M&E works where applicable, for minor projects and maintenance.

• Previously worked within a maintenance environment
• Experience of electrical systems management and paperwork
• Experience of working with business critical equipment
• Post apprenticeship experience within a maintenance environment
• Good knowledge and understanding of a range of complex mechanical systems (Desirable)
• A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic mathematical skills.
• Recognized Electrical Qualification
• City & Guilds 17th Edition in Electrical Installations
• City & Guilds Test and Inspection
