An excellent opportunity has arisen within the South West area for an experienced Compactor & Bailer Engineer

Job Overview:
As a Compactor and Baler Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of compactors and balers used in waste management systems.

You will work closely with clients to ensure the efficient operation of equipment, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical skills, along with a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, and test compactors and balers at client sites according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections on equipment to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems with compactors and balers and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty components, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.
- Keep accurate records of service activities, including maintenance schedules, repair logs, and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with team members and management to optimize service delivery processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and others.
