My client are an industry leader within the Agriculture Engineer industry, Covering a number of contracts throughout the Yorkshire

An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Yorkshire area for an experienced Agriculture Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and set up new agricultural machinery on farms.
- Ensure proper calibration and configuration of equipment for optimal performance.
- Train farmers or machine operators on the correct usage and maintenance of the equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on agricultural machinery.
- Diagnose and address issues related to mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and schedules
- Respond to service calls to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with engines, transmissions, sensors, and other components.
- Order and replace faulty parts, ensuring timely and accurate repairs.
- Provide technical support to customers over the phone or in person.
- Assist farmers in resolving operational issues and optimizing machine performance.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in agricultural machinery technology.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers and agricultural businesses.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and concerns.
- Offer guidance on equipment upgrades and recommend solutions for improved efficiency.
- Prepare detailed service reports, documenting work performed and parts replaced.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service requests, and equipment history.
- Collaborate with the sales and support teams to provide insights for product improvement.
