Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance and Repair: Conduct routine maintenance checks and repairs on agricultural machinery such as tractors, harvesters, plows, seeders, and irrigation systems.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to ensure optimal performance.

Servicing: Perform scheduled servicing and inspections on agricultural equipment to prevent breakdowns and prolong lifespan.

This includes lubrication, filter changes, belt adjustments, and calibration of precision agriculture technology.

Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to farmers and agricultural staff regarding machinery operation, maintenance best practices, and troubleshooting procedures.

Offer recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements when necessary.

Parts Management: Manage inventory of spare parts and components for agricultural machinery.

Order replacement parts as needed and maintain accurate records of parts usage and inventory levels.

Field Support: Visit farm locations to assess equipment performance, address maintenance concerns, and provide on-site repairs or adjustments.

Collaborate with farmers to optimize machinery settings for specific crops or field conditions.

Safety Compliance: Ensure that all agricultural machinery meets safety standards and regulations.

Conduct safety inspections and implement safety protocols to minimize risks for operators and bystanders.

Documentation: Maintain detailed service records, repair logs, and documentation of maintenance activities.

Prepare reports on equipment performance, maintenance costs, and recommendations for improvements.
