My client are an industry leader within the Motor Trade, Covering a number of contracts throughout the Castleford

An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Castleford area for an experienced Motor Trade

Responsibilities:

Diagnosis and Repairs:

Conduct thorough inspections to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other van components.
Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Preventative Maintenance:

Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for the van fleet.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities.
Safety and Compliance:

Ensure that all vans meet safety and regulatory standards.
Conduct safety inspections and address any issues promptly.
Keep abreast of industry regulations and updates related to van maintenance.
Collaboration:

Coordinate with other team members to prioritize and schedule repairs and maintenance tasks.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments regarding van maintenance needs.
Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Provide regular reports on the status of the van fleet and upcoming maintenance needs.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Van Technician or similar role.
Certification or degree in automotive technology or a related field.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of van systems, engines, transmissions, and other components.
Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
