Groundworks Lead
Location: Dorset
Type: Full-Time 42.5 hours per week
Salary: £14 - £18 per hour


Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Groundworks Lead to manage a small two-person team on various groundwork projects.

This role involves leading the team in drainage-related minor repairs, reinstatements, pipe work renewals, soakaway installations, and patch lining fixes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in groundwork and drainage, with proven leadership skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Lead and manage a two-person team in delivering high-quality groundwork services.
Project Execution: Oversee and participate in the completion of projects including minor drainage repairs, pipe work renewals, soakaway installations, and patch lining fixes.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant regulations.
Resource Management: Coordinate the use of materials, equipment, and personnel to maximize efficiency.
Health & Safety: Maintain a safe work environment by following and enforcing safety procedures and guidelines.
Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction.
Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the course of the projects.

Requirements:
Leadership: Proven experience in leading a team or managing projects.
Skills: Strong knowledge of drainage systems, pipe work, soakaway installation, and related groundwork techniques.
Certification: Relevant certifications or licenses in groundworks or drainage (preferred).
Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labour and work in various outdoor conditions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Driver's License: Valid driver's license.
