An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Reading area for an experienced Petrol Groundcare Equipment Engineer

As a Groundcare Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a variety of groundcare equipment used in landscaping, turf management, and horticulture.

Your role will involve ensuring that grounds maintenance machinery operates efficiently, safely, and reliably to support various outdoor environments.

Below is a detailed job specification outlining the key duties and qualifications for this role:

Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with groundcare equipment such as lawn mowers, turf aerators, compact tractors, utility vehicles, and irrigation systems.

Servicing: Conduct regular servicing of groundcare machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

This includes inspecting and lubricating components, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, and performing preventative maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines.

Diagnostic Work: Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex problems with groundcare equipment.

Analyze symptoms, run diagnostic tests, and identify root causes of issues to facilitate effective repairs.

Parts Replacement: Source and replace worn or damaged parts in groundcare machinery, including engines, transmissions, cutting blades, belts, bearings, and electrical components.

Ensure that replacement parts meet quality standards and are compatible
