An excellent opportunity has arisen within the surrey area for an experienced PEV Charger Point Installation Engineer

Job Summary
As an EV Charger Point Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining EV charging stations.

You will ensure all installations comply with industry standards and safety regulations.

This role requires a mix of technical expertise, customer service skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
Installation: Install EV charging points at residential, commercial, and public locations, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and local regulations.

Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues with installed charging points to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Testing & Commissioning: Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of new installations to verify proper functionality and safety.

Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical advice, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork, including installation reports, maintenance logs, and safety checklists.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring safe working practices at all times.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve service quality.

Required:
, A fully qualified level 3 electrician
, 18th Edition qualified
, Hold a full UK Driving licence

Desirable:
, 2391 Inspection and testing (or equivalent)
, 2919 Electric vehicle charging equipment installation
, Experience in the Electric vehicle sector
, ECS gold card or JIB equivalent
