The role
We're on the lookout for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with a knack for software solutions.

, Assess client needs and promote suitable products.
, Meet with decision-makers and provide information about software products.
, Perform product demonstrations and training as needed.
, Negotiate sales prices.
, Construct pitches and sales presentations.
, Exceed new business targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
, Demonstrate the ability to address each potential client's requirements, while providing them with the proper information and appropriate solution based on their specific needs and objectives.
, Engage and work with company and Group colleagues where appropriate.
, Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and execute marketing plans.
, Follow-up on all leads supplied and ensure internal systems are updated.
, Liaise with the appropriate company technical resources to ensure future software development roadmaps accommodate client needs.
, Follow-up with existing clients and work with post-sale Account Managers to ensure consistent and ongoing coverage of account including new sales opportunities.
, Understand and work in all aspects of the sales cycle, including qualifying, presentations, demonstrations, RFP responses, negotiations, and the closing process.
, Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market including the clients, prospects, partners, influencers and competitors.

About you
We're looking for a dynamic individual who is:

, Intellectually curious: You have SMB and enterprise software sales experience with lengthy sales cycles (6-12 months)
, Tech-savvy: You're comfortable with Teams and other Microsoft products.
, A confident communicator: You're comfortable speaking in public, whether it's remotely or at in-person meetings and events.
, A traveller at heart: You're open to occasional nationwide travel to attend conferences, events, and meetings.
, Experienced in Hospitality: Previous experience in this area would be a distinct advantage.
, A seasoned salesperson: You have experience selling software solutions and are familiar with procurement processes.
, Organised and efficient: You have excellent time management skills.
, A skilled presenter: You can create written proposals, develop presentations and demonstrate software solutions with ease.
, Commercially savvy: You're familiar with working with pricing models/frameworks.
, Self-motivated and driven: You have a desire to succeed and can work productively from home.
, Eager to learn: You're willing to learn about new areas/sectors in the Hospitality sector and beyond within the food industry.
, Detail-oriented and professional: You pay attention to the little things that make a big difference.
, A team player: You can work as part of a wider team and support other markets as required.
