Operations Manager

The Role
Operations Manager - Location: Sefton - £29K

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager to be responsible for the daily management of APCOA Civil Enforcement operations. 
The role will be predominantly based in Bootle but will be  required to go Southport weekly for meetings. 
What you'll do: 
·      The ability to be the client’s secondary contact in the absence of the Contract Manager.
·      The ability to monitor the level of the absence and sickness providing recommendations where appropriate. 
·       Flexibility – carry out any other duties as and when required by the Management.
·       Demonstrate Good Communication so to “talk to” staff at daily Team Briefing Session.
·      Be able to organise site surveys and supply case information from Civil Enforcement Officers’ Notes when requested to do by the   Client’s Notice Processing Manager.
·         To assist in providing an effective customer care policy.
·        To provide any other information to the client as required.
·         To provide management information / reports as and when necessary for the Contract Manager.
·           Deal with all written customer enquiries and complaints in accordance with set standards and the customer care policy, logging  each occasion against the appropriate case record.     
·          Be able to prepare the monthly enforcement plan and to monitor the success of those on-going daily.
·          To monitor and effectively manage the performance of the teams.
·          To receive and administer the implementation and removal of parking suspensions.
·          To undertake the duties of the post in accordance with the Quality Assurance systems and procedures within the service.
 What you'll bring 

  •        Experience in Operations Management and Supervision roles.
  •         Confident & Competent to develop beneficial relationships with the client, senior managers, and key stakeholders.
  •         Competence to work under pressure, with a positive and resilient nature. 
  •         Able to prioritise workloads in a fast-changing work environment
  •        Excellent leadership skills.
  •        Have a hands-on can-do approach. 
  •        You will be literate & numerate with an eye for detail.
  •        IT literate with experience of using MS Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  •        Well-developed people management skills.
  •        Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 
 A full clean driving licence essential.
