Health Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Advisor

About You
Do you want to be part of an expert team that protects the health, safety and wellbeing of people and the environment?
Are you good at organising, managing and prioritising your time and projects?
Can you communicate, negotiate and lead with a positive attitude?

  • You'll have good working knowledge and experience of Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) management systems.
  • With a NEBOSH certificate or equivalent, you'll bring experience of working on a wide range of projects within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Using your excellent communication skills, you'll be skilled in motivating others and working as part of team.
  • You'll have the ability to be self-sufficient, coordinating tasks and delivering objectives to agreed deadlines.

About The Role
  • Managing a small HSW support team, you'll ensure achievement of team objectives and milestones.
  • You'll be responsible for implementing the authority's HSW management system within our offices, including accident and incident investigation.
  • You'll support and advise in all aspects of health, safety and wellbeing including, where required, complying with legal duties for minor constructions works.
  • Completing internal audits of the HSW safety management system, you'll advise on findings and actions.
