Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality one-on-one alternative teaching for pupils with SEN, Social, Mental and Emotional Health needs.
  • Work flexibly across various locations, including schools, pupil homes, and external venues.
  • Employ creative and engaging teaching methods to cater to pupils outside mainstream education.
  • Support and guide students in developing identified areas of weakness.
  • Collaborate with the Alternative Provision Lead, parents, schools, and authorities.

Requirements:
  • Recent experience teaching SEN students up to KS4.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt materials and teaching styles to individual needs.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and following relevant policies.
  • Reliable travel to multiple schools across the city.
