Environmental Crime Team Leader - Full-Time - £32-£35,000 salary (dependant on experience)
Local Government Department | Hybrid working with regular travel around the UK
Place of work: Your role will be home based.
Although, you will be required to travel to other company sites in the UK as well as client and potential client sites.
You may also be required to travel overseas.
Hours of work; Your hours of work will be 40 per week, normally Monday to Friday.
However, this is a Team Leader position and due to the demands of the business, you may be required to work additional hours at times.
This may include some weekend work.

Due to our continued growth within the environmental crime sector, we are now recruiting for the position of an Environmental Crime Team Leader.
We are looking for an Environmental Crime Team Leader to work within the business development sector.
This is a busy and varied role, and you will need to be organised with some knowledge and experience of HR processes and practices. You will be supporting the Business Development team and contract managers across the UK to provide a great service to our clients and motivate the team.

- Support the Contract Managers where required to lead and motivate the team.
This will include managing resources to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient operations on behalf of clients. - Work with the Business Development Manager in the achievement of annual contribution budgets, and new business targets for each contract within the business sector.
- Support the Contract Managers to ensure the contract portfolio exceeds client’s expectations and meets Service Level agreements or contract KPI’s.
- Support Contract Managers with the training and retention of teams.
- Carry out regular operation reviews and agree improvement strategies.
- Carry out regular benchmarking of Local Authorities in relation to Parking and Enviro Crime
- Undertake surveys of local authorities’ key locations across the UK to understand EnviroCrime needs and parking pressures.
- Demonstrate the aptitude to support the Contract Managers and their teams to deliver operational efficiency across all relevant contracts.
Skills and experience needed:
- Previous enforcement experience in EnviroCrime is essential.
- Experience of Fixed Penalty Notices essential.
- Experience of Penalty Charge Notices desirable.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build and sustain client relationships.
- Must enjoy working outdoors and in all weather conditions.
- Financial aptitude and process management skills.
- Must have experience of all Microsoft packages especially Excel.
- Understanding of setting and monitoring KPI’s and setting KPI’s.
- The ability to motivate and lead a team using well developed people management skills.
- Training, coaching and mentoring skills.
- Experience with Health and Safety
